Tools: round-tipped brush (we got this one from our local art store), black + gold polishes, clear top coat
1. Make small puddles of the black + gold polishes onto an artist’s palette or a surface that you can dispose after (a business card works great!).
2. Determine how many scallops cover your nail area, depending on the width of your brush. Here we started with the gold shade. If you’re going to use other colors, start with the lighter shade. Since the tip is rounded, plact the bristles where you want the column to be and drag the brush to the end of your nail. Repeat to create the other columns.
3. Repeat with the black polish.
Don’t forget your top coat!
im so going to do this once i get studs :D

Upcycled sweater boots by Urban Threads

What do you get when you mix a cheap pair of flats, an old sweater, and lots of hot glue?

Step 1:

Chopped off the sleeves, turned it inside out, and formed it to my foot.

Step 2:

Hot glued it to a shoe, like so…

Step 3:

Flipped it right side out, and cut the bottom off the sweater to make a cuff..

Step 4:

Embroidered it..

Step 5:

Sewed it into a cuff that would flip out over the boot..

And now you have…Sweater boots!!

I’ll make that boot as soon as possible:)

Bow Ring DIY

Tomrw my old school is having their annual christmas breakfast and me & my friends all decided we’d meet up again :) so today while wrapping christmas gifts for my mom/dad’s friends (since we don’t celebrate christmas ourselves) I thought of a really simple but cute DIY

Steps:

1- get those bows you put on gifts, you can get them from any dollar store, get the small size ones preferably or if you have any at home use those.

2- get the ring you see in the picture (those can also be found at any dollar store)

3- Put the ring into the area where the staple is on the bow

4- Put it on :D

Hope you guys like it
